Telematics, Identification and Bin Weighing Equipment & RFID Tags
The action includes the supply and installation of telematics equipment in waste collection and other municipal vehicles, enabling real-time monitoring of their position, routes, and operational status. Each vehicle is equipped with a GPS device, motion sensors, and a communication system that connects to the central information platform. At the same time, an RFID-based bin identification system is integrated, allowing the automatic recognition of each waste bin by the collection vehicle. The weighing mechanism records the weight of each bin during collection, providing accurate data for waste management and improving route efficiency. This information is transmitted to the Central Fleet Management System, which processes and delivers statistical reports, performance indicators, and maintenance or malfunction alerts, supporting data-driven decision-making.

The Municipality thus acquires a fully automated and intelligent system for managing its fleet and waste bins, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and reduced operational costs. The combination of telematics, RFID, and weighing systems enhances sustainable urban management, providing the Municipality with valuable tools for rational planning, environmental protection, and improved quality of life for citizens.
